Iota Technology Ltd. Is a Hong-Kong based company, founded in 2001, providing humane computing and technology solutions to individuals and business. We believe in the importance of friendly, honest and fair business. We believe that profits and ethics are compatible, and that the former definitely does not bring exemption from the latter. We advocate the use of Free, Open Source Software in appropriate situation, but are also understand the need for, and benefits of, commercial software.To support those in need we make our services, and a small percentage of our labour charges, available to NGOs.

PC & Networking
This is our core competency: We offer a complete range of PC & Network services for individuals and corporations, including consulting, purchasing, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and decommissioning of equipment. Our style is to educate our customers as we work, so that they can make decisions with greater knowledge and confidence.

In terms of systems, we are experienced and comfortable working with a range of systems, including those running Mac, Windows, Linux and Unix, both on the desktop- and server-side.

For purchasing hardware and software, we work with a variety of vendors. We understand that many people are intimidated by technology, and the people who sell it, so we try and make the process as painless as possible. We can talk with you about your needs and draw up details to suit a range of budgets to compare, with no charges and no obligation to buy.

Education
We see it as part of our mission to not only help our clients, but to teach them to help themselves. IT should not be black magic. To this end we offer a comprehensive range of tailor-made education solutions, offering our clients an opportunity to improve the way they work and play with IT.

However, we see education as more than a stand-alone service: it is something we build into everything we do. At each major step of any job, we look for opportunities to explain and analise the various options available, allowing our customers to make decisions with understanding and confidence.

As part of our commitment to open and honest business, we generally do not charge our existing customers for information that can be found with a simple Google search and delivered over a phone call.

Websites
Whilst we do not offer boutique website design services, we do offer aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and standards compliance websites and applications built to suit customer needs. As well as building solutions, we can also provide and integrate technologies from other developers, such as blogging software, auto-responders, appointment booking systems and full-blown content management systems.
